The Special Responsibility
As Denmark's largest commercial port, we have a special responsibility and commitment to the society we are part of. This applies locally, nationally, and internationally. It may sound ambitious, but we truly believe we can lead the way. Therefore, we have ambitious goals that we work towards every day. We aim to become the most sustainable port in the Baltic Sea region and achieve carbon neutrality in scope 1 and 2 by 2030.
Our proximity to the water gives us unique opportunities to work with biodiversity and marine life. For us, port activities are not at odds with marine life.
The UN's Sustainable Development Goals provide the framework and direction for our work on sustainability and biodiversity. We operate on a core strategic principle of integrating sustainability into our core business and in all our decisions and processes.
