One of Denmark's Largest Public Bulk Ports
Port of Aarhus is one of Denmark’s largest public bulk ports. With many years of experience, we handle solid and liquid bulk using various methods across multiple terminals. Common features include deep water and readily available quay berth.

Bulk and Multi Terminal
At the Bulk and Multi Terminal, we primarily handle grain and feedstuff, but also wood pellets, salt, and aggregates. The terminals can accommodate five Panamax-size ships at once, and multiple gantry cranes with double-arm tipping systems are ready to serve the ships on the quays.
Ship-to-ship
With ship-to-ship operations (STS), we can transfer bulk cargo (such as biofuel) from large ships to smaller ships (or barges), which can then sail to other ports with shallower water depths.
All STS operations are conducted with container cranes, which perform many rapid and heavy lifts per hour. This achieves high efficiency and productivity as well as low handling costs.
Omni Terminal
At the Omni Terminal, we have calls from self-unloading ships carrying stones and gravel. Among other equipment, there is a 420-tonne mobile crane, primarily operating at the Omni Terminal, but also complementing the other cranes at different terminals.
Vi har netop igangsat et udviklingsprojekt af Omniterminalen, der skal give endnu flere fleksible arealer og kajplads.
Oil Terminal
The Oil Terminal is docked by tankers unloading both vegetable and mineral oil products through advanced piping systems. At the port in Aarhus, a global food supplier processes large quantities of vegetable oils and fats at their factory, and several companies offer storage of liquid oil products in their tank farms at the port.
