The board of directors of Denmark's largest commercial port has requested the municipal council in Aarhus to approve a transformation of Port of Aarhus from a municipal self-governing port to a joint-stock company port.

This summer marked a historic moment at the cruise ship quay in Aarhus when the Port of Aarhus inaugurated Denmark's first shore power facility for cruise ships. Now, the port is introducing a new fee model that makes it more expensive for those cruise ships who do not connect to the facility, when they choose dock in Aarhus.

While electric cars have become commonplace on roads nationwide, the transition to more specialized vehicles, tasked with duties beyond personal transportation, is sometimes less straightforward.
